Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. Her most famous role is Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress in the Drama Series. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock and Martha Bullock, respectively, on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She fell in love performing in Preparatory School after which she moved to Ohio with her family in the early 1970s. Theatre studies took place in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was taken in the British American Drama Academy. Anna had a brief stint in Chicago theater before transitioning to film and TV roles. In 1992 Anna was offered her first big character in the role of Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. After guest appearances as a on several TV shows and films, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 1990's She was then given the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood that was shot between 2000 and 2001. In 2008, she was picked in the role of Skyler in Breaking Bad. In addition, she was a part of the Deadwood film and Sully. Gunn has also appeared on the stage for David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the podcast audio drama of four episodes called Numbered Days, which was made available in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. Its strain and ultimate ending mirrors the last years that were the life of Walter White.
